I GOT THIS FROM MY FIANCE FOR CHRISTMAS.I LOVE THIS THING!!!
THIS IS THE COOLEST GARBAGE CAN. IT REALLY COMES IN HANDY WHEN I HAVE A BUNCH OF STUFF IN MY HANDS TO THROW AWAY AND DON’T HAVE A FREE HAND TO LIFT THE LID.
ALL I DO NOW IS MOVE MY HANDS ABOVE THE GARBAGE CAN AND THE LID OPENS UP!!
ONLY PROBLEM IS MY DOG IS AFRAID OF IT… (THEN AGAIN HE’S SCARED OF EVERYTHING.)

As another reviewer mentioned, this hands-free trash can has become THE perfect Christmas gift in our family as well! I first gave this one to my husband’s aunt over 2 yrs ago. She absolutely loved it and last Christmas she asked me to order one for her friend (she’s not so internet savvy). When I first told my husband about this item he was very skeptical and believed it was overpriced for a simple trashcan. Oh, but now he’s a total convert– now HE wants to get one for our own kitchen. I couldn’t be happier.
If you are like me and simply NEED to keep your trash can covered with a lid, but get equally annoyed when you have to open it every time you want to throw away garbage, a hands-free trash can is your answer. I can’t begin to describe how convenient it is not having to use hands or feet to open/close the trash can. I love that it has a bag retaining ring inside the can that helps secure it. Unlike most other models, this one is made out of plastic and therefore pretty light in weight, so it’s especially easy to give it a full wash in case it gets really dirty. We love it!

The Touchless Hands-Free Automatic Trash Can works like a charm. We have a couple of Bichon dogs that love to dump our trash cans when we leave them home when we have to go do something. We got this can to see if we could eliminate this problem. It works, they leave it alone. Com

Good life on the batteries, no sticking on the lid, movement is fluid and it is hands free until you have to remove the bag. I use 13 gallon bags and fold them to the outside of the rim insert, that way when I pull the bag out you do not have to mess with the garbage. The insert is a litle awkward that holds the bags but I must say it is was a nice replacement for my old can. I purchased this at a great price, around 20.00 or so, great value when a basic can is coming in around the same. Now I need to get one about half size for the bathroom. Great product would recommend the buy.
