Would highly recommend purchasing this along with your iTouchless garbage can. It really saves on batteries and pays for itself many times over!

Perfect for my itouchless 22 gallon stainless steel touchless NX trashcan. I didn’t want to worry about changing batteries, and this works wonders if you have an outlet near the trashcan. The adapter plugs into the top portion of the can, where the motor is. The only downside is that when you need to change your bag, you need to be careful when lifting the top off as the cord will still be plugged into it. Or, I suppose you could just unplug the adapter from the top every time you change the bag. In any case, $20 seems expensive for an adapter, but if the can lasts for many years (like I hope it will!) then you will probably make up the cost by not having to purchase those expensive D batteries.

Very nice addition to the touchless garbage can….a must unless you like changing batteries. Glad I purchased it.
